Healthy Holidays

For many, memories around the holidays often act as triggers for the release of mental/emotional trauma. Here are some suggestions that may offer help, hope and peace.
Anguish:
Ammonium Mur: internal grief. Consequences of grief. Desire to cry but cannot cry. Melancholy. Apprehensive.
Arnica: Trauma of grief after mental strain or shock. Due to remorse or sudden loss, financial or human. Patient is morose, indifferent, nervous. Wants to be alone. Cannot bear pain or touch.
Arsenicum Alb: Great anguish. Restlessness. Changes place continuously. Exhaustion after slightest exertion. All-pervading debility. Nightly aggravation.
Cocculus: Profound sadness. Absorbed in reveries.
Ignatia: Grief after shock and disappointment. Sighs and sobs. Alternating joy and sorrow Hysterical persons.
Phosphoric Acid: Apathetic, indifferent, as a result of grief and mental shock. Despair. Mental debility followed by physical debility.
Depression:
Aconite: Great fear, anxiety, without basis. Fears death, fears everything. Restlessness. Tossing about. Numbness.
Alfalfa: Depression due to indigestion. Tones up appetite, induces mental exhilaration, buoyancy, a feeling of well-being. (Mother tincture 10 drops per dose 5 times per day. Use as long as necessary.)
Ammonium Carb: Crying frequently, often for no reason.
Aurum Met: Disgust of life. Talks of committing suicide.
Cocculus: Sad. Sits secluded, brooding, absorbed in himself.
Graphites: Mental depression. Thinks only of death and salvation.
Helleborus: Sensorial depression. Sees, hears, tastes imperfectly. Sighs involuntarily.
Hydrastis: Most depressed. Is sure of death, desires it.
Kali Phos: Mental and physical depression. Great despondency, prostration. Want of nerve power.
Lycopodium: Melancholic depression. Afraid to be left alone. Loss of self-confidence. Failing brain power, spells or writes wrong words and syllables.
Natrum Mur: Depression on account of suffering in chronic diseases. Irritable. Wants to be alone to cry. Consolation aggravates.
Nux Vomica: Disturbed sleep, often wakes up around 3:00 a.m. and stays awake. Results of hangover, of leading a fast life.
Phosphoric Acid: Lack of interest in normal activities.
Pulsatilla: Highly emotional. Timid, irresolute, yields easily.
